New Jerusalem Music, the publishing company of Lenny Smith, represents recording artists who work with Sounds Familyre, Asthmatic Kitty, Sounds Are Active, and Kill Rock Stars.

"The artists I am trying to help here are all people in whom I believe. Truthfully, I am not looking to represent any more artists. Right now, I feel I have my hands full just trying to place tracks from these very unique and talented people.

My goal is to get tracks covered by other artists and placed in TV, movies, and ads that are worthy of the music and are a good fit. This is a challenging task, but we are finding that the people at the other end are very talented and want the same thing, so it is mostly a lot of fun....especially when we do get to place a track and are happy with the outcome.

I have an open door policy.  I wish all publishers had one. The artists I am representing can leave me whenever they want, with their songs, if they feel it is time to move on. Not a  problem, because we are all trying to do our best and make the best decisions we can. I still can't believe these exceptional artists have entrusted into my hands their publishing and some of the hopes they have for their songs. I am, indeed, very honored.
